how do i make the widget accurate?
Right-click the widget and select “Configure System Monitor Sensor”. You can choose what exactly it must show you, and how. The information can be stacked or differentiated, shown in different types of graphics, and so on.
well yes, it can be configured but my need is for it to show similar information as ksysguard or htop regarding memory used. in the ss provided, it shows memory used to be 1.2 gb while the other 2 show a range between 600-800 mb used. why is there such a big difference?
You can click in the fields and add or remove sensors. Some show only application memory, some show cache, some show buffers, some show all the physical RAM being used, and so on.
