I’m not using any encryption. Second SSD is not even mounted if I don’t use it, I don’t have anything there that linux uses.
Hmm… well then… I would give it a try with one partition just to see if that may cause all that havok.
I think I’d rather blame:
…before considering the partition layout as the culprit.
I won’t waste any more of my time here.
Good luck.
Do you use wine for steam? I would rather suggest to use the snapstore version and to directly use the steam options to load the games for your linux environment instead of wine. - That might cause the problems with your NVIDIA Drivers.
Good Luck!
Just came here because I’m curious. The title of the thread is:
System hangs up too often
Which implies there is a correct amount for the system to hang. And neither of mine ever does.
So I have 1, maybe 2 questions:
- What is the correct amount?
- How was this determined?
Thank you.

I was higher than 0 every day.
It’s failing again. Endeavour is failing too. I’ll switch to kubuntu until Arch based distros fix this mess. There everything is working without any hang or crash. I’m beginning to think it’s the nvidia driver 550. Kubuntu installs older 535. Or Plasma, they use 5.27.11 instead of latest plasma 6…
