Hi, any tips for using sway appreciated.
Recommend utility apps/panels so that one can still manage audio and network as they would from a taskbar?
Recommend terminal emulator and file manager that are good fits for sway?

According to Sway - ArchWiki
swaybar is the default, and another alternative is waybar.
The default is foot.

You can use any file manager you want. I my self use pcmanfm (To be precise pcmanfm-gtk3) because I use some gtk programs anyway. Thunar of the XFCE family is also a good one.
Otherwise you could always look what Manjaro-Sway has as defaults.
