Why can’t I use the sudo command with manjaro linux

You should be able to.
- Is this a new manjaro installation?
- Which DE and version did you install?
- What command are you trying to issue and what messages are you getting when you try to use the sudo command?
What command are you trying?
Did you mean it showed nothing when you were typing your password? Don’t worry about what’s showing on the screen. Just input your password and press Enter.

There is a way around that if that is the problem — some people can’t visualize the keys in their mind and interpret their keypresses as being accepted if they do not see them displayed. Bt won’t share how to modify the system to display such input until that is known to be the problem for security reasons.
I guess this is dead before it started.

We have no idea why you can’t use sudo…
Did you manage to open up a terminal?
try doing ‘pamac install sl’ and see how that goes.
Next up type ‘sudo sl’ and tell us what you see…
