Stylus doen't work on wayland session

Hello.
I’ve installed Manjaro in all my PC’s, both KDE and XFCE, depending on the machine specs.
My main PC is an Envy x360, Ryzen 5 2500U, which is running KDE fully updated.
My stylus (to write directly on the screen, not in a drawing tablet) stopped working in Wayland. It works if I login in X11.
It worked ok when I installed Manjaro, in late 2024. I believe it stopped working with the inclusion of the “Drawing Tablet” menu in the System Settings.
It looks like the Systems detects the stylus since the mouse cursor blinks when i touch the screen, but it doesn’t follow the stylus.
I can try to upload a video If you think it helps.
Thanks for the awesome work

Welcome to the Manjaro community @andre85

As a new forum user, please take some time to familiarise yourself with Forum requirements; in particular, the many ways to use the forum to your benefit:

The Update Announcements should be checked frequently for important update related information.

These announcements contain a Known Issues and Solutions section and should generally be checked before posting a request for support.

Output of the following command formatted according to forum requirements (see links above) is often useful (and this or similar will usually be asked for in Support threads):

inxi -zv8

This gives some (privacy-filtered) information about your system.

Be prepared to provide more information and outputs from other commands when asked.

Regards.

No need to do that. Your description seems to sum up the issue quite well, and the output of inxi -zv8 will be a lot more useful than a video to the helpers here.

As you’re using Plasma, and your issue is quite possibly Plasma/Wayland related, it might be worthwhile asking a question or two at KDE as well.

Regards.

Hi, sorry for the delay.

I ran the command while the stylus as touching the screen. I don’t know if it makes any difference.
Also, I ran it in the Wayland session (as you can see in the log), since is in this environment that the problem exists.

Here is the log:

I hope I did this right.
Thanks in advance

I’ve taken the liberty of adding your inxi output to your first post where it can be more easily referenced by other members.

Thank you for the suggestion.
You are right this is most probably a KDE related issue
I posted the issue in the KDE bug report forum.
