Stuck on Manjaro Logo boot

So I have been using Manjaro for a while now and everything worked perfectly, until today. I wanted to restart my laptop but when it tried to boot it was stuck on a blank screen with a not blinking underscore. After restarting again with the power button it booted and then was stuck on the boot logo from HP and the Manjaro Logo under it. After a while the Manjaro logo disappears.

This already happened when I duabooted with windows 10, now I only have manjaro.

and what were you doing prior to this? updating/installing/modifying something?
the best option is to chroot, so boot into manjaro live usb, make sure you are connected to internet, open terminal and chroot:
manjaro-chroot -a
rerun update:
pacman-mirrors -f 5 && pacman -Syyu
if there are errors post the output here, if there are no errors and you are up to date, post output from:
mhwd-kernel -li && mhwd -l -li
and logs from the failed boot:
journalctl -b-1 -p4 --no-pager

Thank you for your response!

I installed Wine before this, then my steam bugged and I tried restarting.

When I tried cheroot I got this: grub-probe: error: cannot find a GRUB drive for /dev/sda1. Check your device.map Probably because I don’t have Grub since I don’t dual boot.

The mhdw Command got me this: Manjaro version 6.1.7-1 (linux61)

My PCI configs:

video-linux 2018.05.04 true

this is normal, its from the usb …

did you rerun the update and were there any errors?

and are you up to date?

it looks like its nvidia related…
so first reinstall the current kernel:
pacman -S linux61
then install also the 5.15:
mhwd-kernel -i linux515
if there are errors from this, post them here…

now lets add ibt parameter:
nano /etc/default/grub
and inside this line: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT inside the quotes add this parameter:
ibt=off
dont remove anything, just add it to existing parameters;
then edit this line to look like this:
GRUB_TIMEOUT_STYLE=menu
save the file with ctrl+x, press Y, update grub:
update-grub

exit chroot:
exit
reboot
now the grub menu will be shown so in the advanced options select the kernel 6.1 - not the fallback one and see if you can boot with it, if not try with the kernel 5.15…

Wait so maybe I am dumb but I have opened a file now with nano /etc/default/grub ? I dont know what to do now, sorry.

yes in the opened file locate this line:

and add there the parameter as instructed above…

then edit this line:
GRUB_TIMEOUT_STYLE=
to look like this:
GRUB_TIMEOUT_STYLE=menu

then save it as instructed above

Yes, it worked!! Thank you very much, I never thought this would work! Is there any way I can support you?
