Stuck at black screen with underscore

Hey all, I came back to using my desktop after a few months away, but I’m greeted with a black screen with an underscore. I can drop into a TTY with ctrl+alt+f3 just fine.

I’ve also uninstalled and re-installed my graphics drivers with sudo mhwd -r pci video-nvidia and sudo mhwd -a pci nonfree 0300. When I uninstalled the drivers and rebooted, there were logs displayed until [OK] Reached target Graphical Interface. When I reinstall the drivers and reboot, I’m back to the black screen with an underscore.

Any ideas on how to fix this?
