Strong Noise from Microphone

Hello manjaro Community!

When I plug my Headset into my windows computer and record via Audacity, there is almost no background noise.
When plugged into my Manjaro 5.14 Laptop and using ALSA sysdefault as input, there is super strong noise when recording with Audacity. (pulse input does not work)

Can anyone assist me through a possible solution?

Thanks!

Hi there, have a look here:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PulseAudio/Troubleshooting#Enable_Echo/Noise-Cancellation

Problem is, that the pulse input doesn’t work. Also here my /etc/pulse/default.pa

### Modules to allow autoloading of filters (such as echo cancellation)

load-module module-filter-heuristics
load-module module-filter-apply

### Make some devices default

#set-default-source input

load-module module-echo-cancel source_name=noechosource sink_name=noechosink

set-default-source noechosource
set-default-sink noechosink
