When running Steam, I consistently get “Steam is having trouble connecting to Steam Servers” with a “Retry Connection” and “Cancel” button.

Things I have tried:
- Running steam --reset to reset my user and login. Had no effect.
- Changing my DNS resolution. Set them to google at 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
- Install lib32-systemd
- Installing the flatpak version of Steam and running it (same issue)
- Enabling sudo systemctl enable --now nscd.service
- I have reset my machine after the above steps with no effect.
If you want any additional info let me know. Just to clarify, this is not the black screen issue where you need to enable the Steam beta…I can’t even log in!
I was logged into Steam just fine last night. I have not made any system changes or updates today.
