Static/fuzzy screen after waking up from sleep mode

Hi there! I’m almost newbie about Manjaro and Arch Linux in general. I worked with Manjaro about one year but the OS was configured by a coworker a few years ago and I don’t know or understand the system enough.

A few weeks ago I started in a new job as a junior software engineer so I wanted to set up my own Manjaro Linux on my personal PC from scratch, because I love this distro and guess I learned a lot of it (and know there are a lot of things that idk yet hahah)

All seems went well but I’ve had some issues with my screen when I wake up my laptop from the sleep mode, I see a static/fuzzy screen for a half second and I really don’t know why this happens. Here I let my software/hardware confs
Hardware:

  • AMD Ryzen 7 3700U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx
  • x86_64 arch

Software:

  • DISTRIB_ID=“ManjaroLinux”
  • DISTRIB_RELEASE=“23.0.3”
  • DISTRIB_CODENAME=“Uranos”
  • DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION=“Manjaro Linux”
  • Kernel: 6.5.5-1-MANJARO (linux65)

I’ll really thank you for your help!

I’m usually fuzzy after first waking from sleep; isn’t this normal?

Seriously, though, what you describe is probably not worth any concern; especially with it being as short-lived as you suggest; half a second. It could be interesting to revert to the 6.1 LTS kernel to see if it still occurs. Beyond that, I have nothing to add. Cheers.
