[Stable Update] 2026-01-04 - Manjaro 26.0, Mesa, Firefox, LibreOffice, COSMIC

Not a lover of Xfce, and 1 of the reason I’m still using Gnome is I’ve not found a desktop GNU that looks good, Works well, and has it own Apps so everything looks as it should.

As for Community Edition i used to use one back around 2014/15 and after a year or so the Dev stop supporting it, i can not remember which one it was but i think it was with the Budgie Desktop.

I’ve been using Manjaro since around 2012 and think it’s time for a change, Once i figure out what Desktop to use.

If you like Gnome but do not want to or for technical reasons can not use wayland you’d inevitably have to use another distro with an older Gnome as there won’t be any X11 support from Gnome 50 onward:

No, it’s because marking a kernel as LTS in the manjaro-settings-manager requires an update to the manjaro-settings-manager itself. It’s just because of the ad hoc way the software was written.
