I would tend to say, that the major problem with this update is / was the Nvidia driver in almost all of its latest versions. I had other issues already within the testing branch, because the latest 580 release still has issues with missing WQHD resolutions on Pascal cards.
So far I did not encounter any issues on my AMD only system, but found a lot of complains from people with Nvidia cards - also on plain Arch or CachyOS - while searching for a solution to my above mentioned problem.
