Do NOT use Discover for updates. It uses packagekit which is a security problem. You can browse with it and install plasma widgets, for everything else should not be used.
Pamac, pacman, octopi use the native alpm library
For me enabling wifi interface fixed it. Could even re-disable it afterwards without the spam returning.

thermal: core: Allow thermal zones to tell the core to ignore them
commit e528be3c87be953b73e7826a2d7e4b837cbad39d upstream.
The iwlwifi wireless driver registers a thermal zone that is only needed
when the network interface handled by it is up and it wants that thermal
zone to be effectively ignored by the core otherwise...........
A post was split to a new topic: After I start qBittorrent, the whole system halts
I have been experiencing some kind of issue with the filesystem since the update. I had a partition set up (ext4) for a Timeshift backup, and since the update, the filesystem in that partition is not responsive. I have removed Timeshift, deleted the partition, recreated the partition, and none of those things seem to have solved the issue, every time I mount it I get a Plasma Desktop Workspace Error saying “Filesystem is Not Responding - Filesystem mounted at ‘/run/media/username/Timeshift_backup’ is not responding.” As soon as that partition gets mounted in any capacity, it seems to brick the filesystem inside it and any programs attempting to interact with it.
Faced more problems with kernel 6.10.0 in dmesg – spam of 2 types of lines:
amdgpu 0000:2f:00.0: amdgpu: MES failed to respond to msg=MISC (WAIT_REG_MEM)
and
[drm:amdgpu_mes_reg_write_reg_wait [amdgpu]] *ERROR* failed to reg_write_reg_wait
which apparently is already reported
hopefully patched soon.
Since the update there are problems with Kdenlive and Shotcut (from the official repos): Mono (= 1-channel) audio is only played back in the left channel. The problem seems to be caused by the update of ffmpeg and especially by the installation of mbedtls2.
However, it is probably mainly a Kdenlive problem, because with the Flatpak versions the problem only occurs later than Kdenlive 24.02.2. Since an update from 2024-06-08 the problem is there again.
But: No problems with all AppImages of Kdenlive!
The problem with Kdenlive arises as soon as I make one of the following updates:
chromaprint
ffmpeg
ffmpeg4.4
libplacebo
mlt
mpv
x265
Und: das update von mpv verlangt die Installation von mbedtls2.
