Linux 6.6.X and nouveau not working on NVIDIA 210.

As i mentioned 2 Threads ago, Linux 6.6.x no longer works on my system with nouveau drivers and nvidia Geforce 218. Kernel 6.1.67-2 still works:

Seeing as it works on 6.1, I’d say don’t worry, as 6.1 will be supported for 10 years:

Since this update I am asked for the password when changing the display brightness: [image] I’m using i3 but the brightness is managed by the xfpm-power-backlight-helper and indeed it can be run only by the root user.

This still is an issue also after this update.

For the positive message “All-up-to-date” is a warning icon in my world … not right.

Blender does not start, it trips over my GPU, more precisely: the driver:

I tried a downgrade up to 2.7, then it cannot find a shared lib…
I’ll try the flatpack (or the AUR)…
It’s not critical for me…but I just wanted to mention this…

Running Manjaro Gnome on 2 systems, one was able to update to with no problems, the other is still on kernel 6.6.5-3 and claims it is up to date. Running pacman -Syu got the same results. Is it an issue maybe of what mirror it’s looking at maybe?

EDIT - it was a mirror issue - that system was set to United States, once I set it to worldwide, the latest update was detected
