The installer is creating the system user and group for saned package (scanner access now easy).

linux-headers-latest and linux-api-headers are still on 5.10, other than that everything went fine with Cinnamon, running on an r5 3600.

dotnet snap is broken after this update.

$ dotnet run
fish: ā€œdotnet runā€ terminated by signal SIGSEGV (Address boundary error)

Updated backup system OK. Kernel updated to 5.10.18 but kernel on working system not updated - still on 5.9.16 which is marked EOL. Only difference between the two is that the working system is on SSD. Any ideas?

How do I make/build myself an ISO of the current stable stream of packages? I think its not officially available. Only developer builds are.

Thank you. That msg seemed unusual.

Hi Guys,

Can you help me, please? I am seeing a message saying:

:: There are 2 providers available for glfw:
:: Repository community

  1. glfw-wayland 2) glfw-x11

Enter a number (default=1):

I didnā€™t have glfw installed before, and I am not sure which option should I get?

all fine gnome :slight_smile:

Manjaro KDE. No problems here, went smoother than a knife through butter.

Everything seems fine for me and MATE :+1:

  1. I am using Linux kernel 5.4.97(LTS) .Should I update to 5.9.1 ?
    2.Linux Kernel 5.10.19(LTS) will be supported by manjaro in future?

KDE, kernel 5.4, smooth update, thanks

Kernel 5.9 is end-of-life. Kernel 5.10 is already in the repository.

No. 5.9 is EOL and not available anymore. I use 5.10 as itā€™s set to be the next LTS.

KDE update went OK. The only thing I donā€™t like - almost every single time after major KDE stuff is updated, all the buttons (Reboot, Logout, Shutdown) disappear from Leave menu, so if you donā€™t click ā€œRestartā€ button in update message popup right after update is completed, thereā€™s no option to shutdown PC.

P.S. Yes, I know itā€™s possible to do that via CLI and I have no problems doing that, but ā€œnormalā€ users (especially those coming from Windows world) find it extremely frustrating. So they simply hard-reboot their PCsā€¦

this one for X11 ( Xfce)
