Sound is choppy/jumps when using discord/zoom/electa live

Good day

My sound is choppy/ jumpy whenever i use a app discord/zoom/electa live.
I followed the trouble shooting guide for pulseaudio on the archwiki to change some of the config files but it made no deference.
I also tried pipewire but it was more or less the same.

Realtime Sound with PulseAudio ? Sure ?

aplay response should be showing a default pcm for PulseAudio in addition to pulse pcm

default
Default ALSA Output (currently PulseAudio Sound Server)

I suggest

  • Install pulseaudio-alsa to set Default ALSA Output
  • reboot system and check aplay -L or inxi -Aa
  • reconfigure VOIP applications to use Default pulse plugin for audio capture and playback so audio streams are visible in audio mixer GUI controls
