This might be a little long, but I’ll try to not be…
On manjaro-kde for 2 years, testing repos for 1 year, this issue is on the testing repos. (Linux user since 1998).
Absolutely love manjaro, thank you all involved.
AMD rx570 graphics, 8 cores amd processor, 16 g ram.
As of an update 2 days ago (I think) most of my steam games won’t play.
The games that no longer work are Path of Exile, Neverwinter Online, Oblivion. All of which played flawlessly until now.
The games that still work (that I’ve tried) Morrowind, Americas Army.
What I’ve tried…
Switching between Wayland and X.
Switching to a different kernel from 5.15.x and the LTS 5.10? I think.
Switching the games proton version between the last two stable versions, and experimental, and GE.
And yes, I have restarted the machine several times, including a couple complete turn offs, turn ons.
Starting the steam client in terminal and launching a game, seems to stop with Installing breakpad exception handler for appid(steam)/version(1639697812). All I can seem to find on breakpad exception handler seems to come back to nvidia drivers, but I’m on AMD so that’s not helpful.

I greatly appreciate any help to hopefully get this working again and to make sure that it’s not a testing repo issue that’s going to end up in stable. It might even be I just need to wait for the next round of updates and all will magically be fixed, certainly possible. Until then I must admit I’m having fun revisiting MTG: Arena again for the first time in a long time (installed through Lutris), so that means Vulkan is working? idk.
