Some apps does not show file to open

Hello coming back to KDE after a long time and wow it is really great ! Just a couple of issue I have with two applications:

1. ChessX
2. VirtualBox

The issue is similar. For app 1. when I try to open a pgn file I can browse the folder from the modal form but I cannot see anything on the right panel. No file or other directory are shown.

For app 2. if I want for example attach live disk iso I can see the file but I’m not able to select it via mouse click.

Has anyone had the same issue ?

Hello and thank you for your answer. I tried the solution uninstalling `xdg-desktop-portal-kde and installing xdg-desktop-portal-gtk but the problem is still there. Maybe is there some other thing to do ?
