Software Manager Froze & System Broke During Update On Fresh Install

I just built a light productivity PC using Aorus B450 Pro Wifi ITX with Ryzen 3400G and 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4. Installed a fresh install of Manjaro Gnome and messed with some appearance settings. I created a backup via Timeshift and began to update with the software manager. The update stalled on Upgrading bmenu 10.0 > 13.0 and froze the entire system. Couldn’t shut down or reboot. Had to hard shut down holding power button on my tower. Booted into live USB, restored Timeshift, rebooted, tried again. Same effect. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

UPDATE: tried sudo pacman -Syu, declined community versions, got past the bmenu upgrade where Software Manager was stalling and now it stalled again after upgrading pamac-flatpak-plugin hit 100%.
