So, did the Nvidia driver break Manjaro for me in July?

Sorry no sys info. My dad has the a GTX 1050ti, he had the driver,k but Gnome not KDE. I do remeber a post saying someone had 3 sys 1 nvidia, that is the only one that broke. Gnome did fine for my dad, But KDE broke for me. SO I wonder was it KDE or Nvidia? Garuda seems ok with having the drivers though.

From your other topic, it seems that way. I am not Garuda-competent, but if it is like EOS, that means it rolls with arch stable. Which is manjaro UNstable. So switching to unstable branch might solve your problem.

Garudo is worse? It updates have been fine sofar, even with the driver. God, I wish Nvidia would come out with a wayland control center. EOS=Endever OS??

That’s a question you should ask the maintainers of manjaro. it’s obvious that distros like cachyos or endeavour work like charm and manjaro has hickups.

Garudo has been fine so far also. It is odd, my dad said Gnome was fine then for him. I have wondered about a BSD, but no one does a a user freindly xBSD distro. I sai9d before, Apple should bring their OS out to PC, but PC isn’t ARM yet. So that is unneeded pain. OMG, they blab about PC going ARM, so when will it astart happening???
