I have been using Linux for many years and now moving to Manjaro.
I have a Brother MFC 9340CDW printer.
On previous *buntu desktops I have gone https://support.brother.com/g/b/downloadhowto.aspx?c=us_ot&lang=en&prod=mfc9340cdw_all&os=127&dlid=dlf006893_000&flang=4&type3=625 and followed the instructions:
But for ARCH (Manjaro) there is no support for install.
I found [https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/brother-mfc-9340cdw ]
I have downloaded the files from here.
Right now I am unsure what needs to happen with them to get them installed so I can pick up my printer model.
Note - I have also tried to just install the printer via the add printer using IP address etc, but this specific printer is not listed. I believe it is a local (Australia Only) version.
Getting this printer to work is now my yes/no for ARCH Manjaro going forward.
Thanks in advance.
