Hello People,
I got a very confusing problem with the Wi-Fi on my fresh install of Manjaro. My download speed is roughly hitting 2Mbps, despite being between 30…40Mbps in the live-session. Ping and upload speeds seem fine in both systems (Ping: 15…30ms | Upload: 10…17Mbps). Also with cable my LAN is hitting top values (Ping: 16…30ms | Download: >250Mbps | Upload: >24Mbps).
I already tried comparing the live-session with my installed system, but as far as I can tell both are using the ath9k
-driver and the same 5.9.16-1-MANJARO
-kernel. Although I had to switch back to it on my installed system from the 5.10.23-1-MANJARO
-kernel, but it didn’t solve the problem, alhtough at one point the speed was shortly back up at 30…40Mbps, but this didn’t last. I also tried a variety of other kernels (5.10.26
, 5.11.10
, 5.4.108
, 4.19.183
, 4.14.22
), but there where no changes worth noting. I also checked live-sessions of other OSs like EndeavourOS, Bluestar Linux, ArcoLinux and Artix Linux, but it’s the same all along. The Wi-Fi is just working fine on the live-sessions.
My inxi
-output is as follows:

I will provide the output of my system in the live-session also, after I have booted into it again.
I want to mention, that I consider myself a linux and manjaro beginner and maybe got things wrong diagnosing my system, so please feel free to double check and ask redundant questions. I will go through steps again, I think I’ve taken already, if you ask me to do so. This said, I want to thank you in advance for your help, time and patience
