As the title states. I suspect there is something “wrong” which is causing these issues and I was wondering if any of you could help me out 
I checked various resources online and tried the command cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | grep -i DRI3, which gave me the output [ 4.675] (II) Initializing extension DRI3. As far as Xorg is concerned, I get 20-50% CPU load which is strange, given the high-end hardware I am using…
I wanted to print the output of htop to a file, but that proved difficult, as the formatting makes it seem like pure gibberish

EDIT: xdriinfo gives me the output Screen 0: not direct rendering capable.
