On KDE, forum sidebar items disappear when mouse hover on. Their changing color mingle with the background color in dark, light or auto modes.

I have seen it too - the latest update to the forum software have introduced changes to the default styling - navigate to your user profile → Preferences → Interface → Switch to another theme.
The Graceful theme using defaults gives a pretty decent Manjaro look and feel.
