Shutdown *with* log messages

On usual Linux distributions, shutting down produces a list of debug messages.

On my current installation of Manjaro, I just see the logo of my Laptop vendor.

I would prefer to see system log messages.

How do I achieve that?

Edit /etc/default/grub and remove quiet behind GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT

After that sudo grub-update and your done
