i did a shutdown by mistake after the update instead of a reboot.
does it matter?
if I’m not mistaking,in windows a shutdown isn’t really a shutdown(because of fast start),but a reboot is.
No, as the updates have already been installed either way.
It doesn’t matter on Windows either as it will continue installing the updates the next time you turn it on.

yes they have been installed,but “for the updates to take effect,a reboot is required”.
so does shutdown/power on=reboot?
