Shutdown and reboot wont close open tasks

Hey guys

its the first time i am using linux and my problem is that every time i start the system the programs i used before the shutdown or reboot will show up again as if they werent closed.

I close the tabs and the programs and reboot the system (via Gui or command – both acting the same in my case)
But every time i boot the system again it will show up like i was only in sleep mode

Thanks in advance → could not find this problem anywhere.

If you are using KDE, you could:

  • Go to System settings
  • Type Desktop Se
  • Click Desktop Session
  • Check Start with empty session

If that doesn’t help, please post the output of:

inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host --width

so that we know your system a bit better.
