Shutdown and reboot problem

Hi everyone,

I ran into some issues with reboot and shutdown today. I am not 100% sure if these problems were related to the newest updates I received earlier this day. But at least after that current update I noticed there is a problem so I post it here.

I checked the last boot for errors via journalctl and got the following result:

I assume the problem is the last item in this list, just because obiviously it is the one thing the system could not handle. I did some research in this forum and on the internet in general and as far as I understand it, it has to do with the network manager. But I was not able to find a working solution. Does somebody know what to do?

Hey @TKV79, I’m encountering the same issue with Pop_OS, involving unusual reboots and shutdowns. My friend with a Manjaro Asus laptop also faces these reboots. We both see ACPI problems and are unsure if that’s the root cause.

Here is some information from inxi -Fxz

If you haven’t rebooted due to this issue, try doing it from the Terminal:

reboot

… if you haven’t already tried this?
