Shotwell location settings and how reset completely?

I am using Shotwell.
The database is located: ~/.local/share/shotwell
In ~/.config I see an directory Shotwell but this map is empty.

  1. Where can I find my settings of Shotwell?
  2. How can I reset Shotwell completely inclusive my settings?
I tried: sudo pacman -Rn shotwell, but the settings where still there when I reinstalled Shotwell.

Remove both of these directories (including content).
While you are at it, remove ~/.cache as well - or at least the shotwell subdirectory.

Uninstalling and reinstalling will never touch anything inside your $HOME directory.
To reset it to default state - as it was before you first started it - you have to clean up those yourself.
The directories and files will be recreated on the next start of the program.

I do not know of the top of my head - Gnome stores all its settings in a dconf database as far as I know.
There is dconf-editor with which you can look at and make changes to all of them.

Yes, after I have removed Shotwell, I have also removed:
~/.cache/shotwell
~/.config/shotwell (which directory was empty)
~/.local/share/shotwell
When I then reinstall Shotwell the settings I have made before are still there.
So how I can remove these settings?

Ps I will look at dconf-editor if I find there anything to solve my problem.

It’s got a search function.

the paths are
/org/gnome/shotwell
and
/org/yorba/shotwell
and below

Thanks I have found the settings I need in /org/gnome/shotwell.
I am using now Shotwell 32 and my photo directory is located on my NAS (run/media/Afbeeldingen/Afbeeldingen 1).
Dconf-editor /org/gnome/shotwell/preferences/files/import-dir gives an error: Keys not defined by a schema and No schema found (translated from dutch).
But everything is working well.

That can be changed as needed from the “File” settings in the program itself - which makes sense to me as it is prone to change where you want to import from.
No need to go through the dconf-editor.

The Library (storage?) can be adapted from the “Edit” → “Preferences” …

I know I can change it within the program itself but when I looked in dcof I saw the “error”.
But as I said: Everything worrks good now.
Problems solved.
