Sharp-MX-2610N network printer refuses to print

Hi. There is a Sharp-MX-2610N printer on our office floor. It is automatically detected and installed in manjaro. I can send test-pages, and the get marked as “completed” in the job cue:

But it does not print. However, my neighbors (windows-users) have no problems printing.
I tried various things: I downloaded and installed drivers sharp driver, and I had manjaro dowload drivers automatically. Nothing seems to help.

Could you please help me to troubleshoot this?

I just wanted to add that when I send a test-page, I can heer a little beep from the printer. It’s not a noise that is deliberately produced - more like a small fan or so. So I conclude that the printer actually receives data, but (still) refuses to print.

I got access to the log on the printer. It stated error [040D]. See this post on
Error 040D. As stated, the driver PCL6-driver fixes the issue.
