Screen Tearing in Plasma using xrender

When I first installed manjaro I believe 21.05, xrender was working flawlessly.
Now it tears.
Neither open gl versions tear though.

I think the tearing started at 21.06.

The machine has an intel i3 with hd graphics.

I have created a 20-intel.conf file, and used this:

Section “Device”
Identifier “Intel Graphics”
Driver “intel”
Option “TearFree” “true”
EndSection

This has worked for me in the past on other distros, however I still have tearing.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

So why don’t you use one of those?

Becuase it screws with the graphics in the menus of fusion 360 installed with wine.

So, you rather cut the head off instead of feeling some pain in one finger …
I would suggest to go trough this
