Screen is glitching

Hi guys, this is my first time posting here cause it’s really urgent. Any help you can provide would be extremely appreciated, thanks.

Yesterday when I was going to bed, I press the power button on my laptop to suspend, then closed the lid. As I was doing so, I noticed the screen start glitching, but I didn’t pay it any mind.

Today morning, I resumed it only to see the glitching continue. I have restarted several times, but to no avail.
I know the issue isn’t with the laptop screen cause the bios looks fine, and I have windows installed alongside, which also displays just fine.
This is my work and personal laptop, and I’m scared I’ll have to reinstall.

Info that might help:
I use gnome, but added hyprland many months ago.
The glitching starts as soon as the Manjaro loading screen shows after bios.
I installed waydroid package yesterday, but I didn’t do all that kernel stuff; just simply the aur package.
My laptop is Lenovo yoga 510

Thank you very much for whatever help you can provide.

Forum won’t let me add image, so here it is:

I’ve edited post to add photo and system info, thanks

Uninstall Waydroid.

If the issue you noticed only started when shutting down after installing Waydroid, that might be among the first things I’d try.

Then shutdown completely, go and make a coffee, tea, glass of koolaid, or whatever you desire. Come back after five minutes, and start the computer again (a cold start) and see if any magic happens.

You have been reading yet another drive-by comment from @soundofthunder .

Oh, and @jojo2 Welcome to the Manjaro community.

I’ve uninstalled waydroid and issue still persists.
It temporary stopped when i pressed SUPER+M to log out of hyprland. However, on the third and onward tries, it didn’t work.

You could try updating your kernel, to the latest 6.6, for example, or the kernel 6.1 (LTS). See if that makes a difference. See Manjaro Kernels.

Also, check that your monitor cables are properly connected and secured (both ends). Cheers.
