I wanted to import the color profile of my screen but in the screen settings window there is no such option.
My system is:
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.5.0
Qt Version: 6.7.2
Kernel Version: 6.8.12-3-MANJARO (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz
Memory: 15,5 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® HD Graphics 4600
Manufacturer: ASUS
You have to click that button with the floppy disk icon , next to the field for the profile name, and navigate to where you have stored the file with the color profile settings.
OP does not have this button or section. That is the whole reason for the post.
I think this is maybe related to Wayland vs X11.
My memory is a bit fuzzy … but I know the options presented are different between the two.
If no ICC profile loading button thing is there for you then you will almost certainly be able to use colord-kde (install it … then view/configure the new kcm).
I installed colord-kde also trying to reboot but nothing.
I also found here in the forum that manjaro-settings-manager for kcm does not work on plasma 6:
“Yes, that is correct. The -kcm module for that tool was written for Plasma 5 and qt5, and is not compatible with Plasma 6 and qt6.”
