LEXMARK MC3224dwe Scanner with Manjaro Plasma

Since switching to Qt6, the LEXMARK MC3224dwe scanner no longer works properly. The scan is horizontal on a portrait format. It is impossible to scan a document in the right direction.
Under ROCKY Linux 9.5, there are no driver issues.
Could we have the same updated drivers under Manjaro? The LEXMARK site puts the latest driver online under FEDORA, Debian and OpenSuse. Could there be a version for Arch and its descendants like MANJARO?

A common misunderstanding is that an OS is generally not responsible for printer/scanner drivers. Unless the manufacturer releases drivers specific to a given platform, finding crivers can be potentially troublesome.

I’ve spent a few minutes searching for possible solutions, however, I have only found the following at the AUR:

Now, this is a CUPS driver on AUR that seems not to have been updated since 2022; and carries with it a large amount of (likely outdated) dependencies; so, use this with caution.

The description states the following printer model support:

Clearly, this does not include your specific printer, however, it does support the MC3200 series, which I presume will include the characteristics of yours.

Note that this driver may not support all of your printers features; or, it may not work at all. If you wish to take a gamble, the driver could be built and installed from the AUR, like so:

pamac build lexmark-aey

With any luck, this will provide basic support via the CUPS interface. If information about CUPS is needed, please see the links below.

I hope this works for you, but there are no guarantees.
