I am very happy to announce the release of SbK Manjaro Server 126.

This release introduces a full LAMP (Linux Apache MariaDB PHP) stack to the server.
The full iso has a IceWM desktop that can be started.

All iso’s in this release include:

  1. The 6.12.64 LTS kernel.
  2. The server has Cockpit installed to help control the server in a browser on another computer.
  3. The server has Firewalld installed to help protect the server.
  4. The server has the Minidlna media server installed.
  5. The server has the Apache HTTP server installed.
  6. The server has the MariaDB server installed. It still needs to be configured past basic installation.
  7. Adminer is installed. It is a web based MariaDB interface written in PHP. The php file is located in /srv/http/“random named directory” to limit web access to it. A user must be created in MariaDB before it can be used. If you did the configuration in #6 thats done.
  8. The server has PHP installed with a basic libphp setup.
  9. Cockpit, Firewalld, Apache, MariaDB, and Minidlna are enabled and started. The firewall is configured to allow access to the servers except MariaDB
  10. The install is accomplished in a IceWM desktop. After install the minimal boots to a command prompt. The full has an IceWM desktop that can be started with startx after you login to help accomplish tasks. Once accomplished the desktop can be exited to free resources for serving.
  11. A basic Conky with matching color theme in the full iso.
  12. The menu icon in the dock of the full iso is color matched to the other themes.
  13. The iso’s are up to date as of 1/14/2026..

All iso’s also contain the standard SbK features.

  1. The latest LTS kernel.
  2. A 100% Manjaro stable install.
  3. The Spins by Kilz signed repository is enabled for SbK project packages.
  4. A signed iso. For information on checking signed iso’s visit Check ISO
  5. Bloatware has been removed (HP printer software and others).
  6. Flat packs and snaps are not installed. The back ends are also not installed but can be installed by the user.
  7. Timeshift autosnap installed. It takes a snapshot before upgrading so any bad upgrades can be easily reversed.
  8. A basic Conky with matching color theme in the full iso.
