Samsung C34H890 ultrawide resolution missing

Hi,

I have a new external monitor which runs a 3440x1440 resolution at 100 Hz. In the display set up my laptop display is shown correctly and the Samsung recognized, but the settings do not allow for any 21:9 screen and the may Hertz are 60, even though the laptop monitor runs at 120 Hz.

I tried to update the driver but it did not find any update. All posts I found refer to nvidia driver set-up, not Skylake.

This is my system set-up:
