How to revert back the default action when opening an unknown file? I want a prompt what application to open when I tried to open an unknown file.
After installing VeraCrypt, it took over almost all common file types and also became an option for all file types. It’s very annoying! When I accidently double-clicked a PY file, it opens with VeraCrypt. When I downloaded a Chrome extension and clicked at the bottom bar where the download progress appears, it opens VeraCrypt instead of installing it as a Chromium extension. CRX is an unknown file and has no any app associated with on my settings.
