UPDATE
I have a snapshot created at 1/5/2022 with a kernel version of 5.13
It’s basically a snapshot of my entire system however I can’t restore it because I have a lot of new files in multiple directories.
Is there a way to restore it and keep my new files?

I had an idea of creating a snapshot for the current system. Then I’m going to copy all the folders in my root directory except the home directory (So thats /bin /lib etc…). And copy all of them to my current system and replace all of them. (Although I think this is gonna cause a LOT of problems )

Maybe I can copy my entire home directories to a flash drive then restore the snapshot? I don’t have a flash drive that big so I’ll have to cut corners. So if I restore the snapshot then update how can I prevent the same problem from happening again.
