Reset mouse config to default

Hi,
I had mouse acceleration so I googled and found a command online and I entered it into terminal and my mouse acceleration was fixed but now after some time my mouse has got deacceleration! my mouse works fine on windows but bad on linux please help :frowning:

This is all really confusing I dont know how to fix this I just want my mouse back to normal, is there a way I can delete a config file for my mouse just to reset it.
in the gui in settings mouse accelertation is set to 0.

I dont know the command, but my mouse has got deacceleration not acceleration ;/
I do remember it has deacceleration in the command somewhere though.

@alastair You need to make a new xorg config file with some options as given here: Mouse acceleration - ArchWiki. Put the file in the following directory: /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/. It will disable mouse acceleration and then you’ll be able to adjust your mouse speed in the xfce slider.
