Removing 'rest' to update Manjaro Linux

could not satisfy dependencies:
  • removing rest breaks dependency ‘rest’ required by lib32-rest

I get this when I am trying to update now, I’ve attempted Sudo pacman -R rest and well it claims I can’t because it will break dependency.

Try sudo pacman -R lib32-rest instead, and then proceed with your update.

That worked, thank you.

sudo pacman -R lib32-rest didn’t work for me; I got;
error: target not found: lib32-rest
How do I remove something that apparently doesn’t exist?

Hijacking somebody else’s thread is antisocial. If you have a problem updating your system, then start your own thread under System Updates and shows u what error messages you’re getting.
