Regression in RDR2

No problem

Pamac marks AUR Packages under foreign, since i have only 2 AUR Packages self installed, i remove everything else which has a AUR Marker on it, but since i use pamac that gives a good overview, i never had interest’s in a Terminal command (if this even exists) to filter them.

But i recently removed on my PC/Laptop (both KDE) the AUR Foreign that you have too: breath2-wallpaper, spectre-meltdown-checker, libcroco, khtml, kjs, js78 that was recently one of this outdated and unsupported Repo Packages and that is in your List right now (outdated and should be orphan’s).

Create a System Snapshot just in case before you remove them.

I guess there could be some more, but i can’t help you with the other’s.

I control them with this:

Orphan paket check, Important for safety uninstallation:

(Required By : None)
(Optional For : None)

pacman -Qi "Package name"

Spoiler Alert:
I would change your Steam Topic: “Performance regression because of?”
and add Linux to it. Because Windows user’s complain’s all day long and has probably nothing to do with your error’s.

I went through the list and removed some. The remainder I know what they are for. Only not sure about the Manjaro specific packages.

Any experience on how helpful the steam discussion will be?

You forgot one…

50/50 you just need luck, that the right people see your topic…

Search for it… even on page2 showed a steam deck discussion.

Well, I didn’t forget that one. I keep it installed in case another leak gets added.

It’s Friday, so there is some hope.
