Hi,
The laptop does not detect again the HDMI monitor when it is re-connected after suspend.
On X11, autorandr can force the re-detection. No such tool seems to exist for Wayland under Gnome.
NB: The HDMI monitor is detected again if the session is closed and a new session is opened.
Configuration:
- Intel HD Graphics
- Manjaro 26.0 stable (04/01/26)
- Kernel 6.12
- Gnome 49
- Wayland
Steps to reproduce:
what works
- switch to the screen of the laptop with the built-in keyboard shortcut
- disconnect the HDMI cable
- reconnect the HDMI cable
=> the HDMI monitor is detected by Gnome Settings and the built-in keyboard shortcut
what does not work
- switch to the screen of the laptop with the built-in keyboard shortcut
- disconnect HDMI cable
- suspend laptop
- wake-up laptop
- reconnect HDMI cable
=> the HDMI monitor is NOT detected by Gnome Settings NOR by the built-in keyboard shortcut
Thanks.
