Reconnected HDMI monitor not detected after suspend

Hi,

The laptop does not detect again the HDMI monitor when it is re-connected after suspend.

On X11, autorandr can force the re-detection. No such tool seems to exist for Wayland under Gnome.

NB: The HDMI monitor is detected again if the session is closed and a new session is opened.

Configuration:
- Intel HD Graphics
- Manjaro 26.0 stable (04/01/26)
- Kernel 6.12
- Gnome 49
- Wayland

Steps to reproduce:

what works
  1. switch to the screen of the laptop with the built-in keyboard shortcut
  2. disconnect the HDMI cable
  3. reconnect the HDMI cable

=> the HDMI monitor is detected by Gnome Settings and the built-in keyboard shortcut

what does not work
  1. switch to the screen of the laptop with the built-in keyboard shortcut
  2. disconnect HDMI cable
  3. suspend laptop
  4. wake-up laptop
  5. reconnect HDMI cable

=> the HDMI monitor is NOT detected by Gnome Settings NOR by the built-in keyboard shortcut

Thanks.

What is the equivalent of the command autorandr under Wayland with Gnome?

The best would be to address why the HDMI monitor is not detected when hot plugged but having an answer to the question above would at least help me get back the behavior I had before migrating from Manjaro 25 (X11) to Manjaro 26 (Wayland).

NB: Search results on Google, Manjaro, Arch Linux, and Reddit r/linux seems either not about hot plugging (ie. the monitor is never detected) or not about Gnome (ie. Mutter is not a wlroots compositor). So your help is much welcome :folded_hands:
