Realtek RTL8852BE intermittent issues

Hi, I just updated yesterday ans since then I have a weird WiFi behaviour, the connection just “pauses” randomly. I don’t get disconnected from the network, my other machines still have internet but I have intermittent moments where I cannot access the internet and my network monitor is stuck at 0b/s. Then it works back again like nothing happened, and cuts again after a moment. I made a few searches through the forum and various reddit posts and wikis but did not really find similar symptoms

Does it ring a bell to anybody? I’m using the 6.10.5 kernel and this is the result of inxi -Nazy

Network:
Device-1: Realtek RTL8111/8168/8211/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet
vendor: Lenovo driver: r8169 v: kernel modules: r8168 pcie: gen: 1
speed: 2.5 GT/s lanes: 1 port: 4000 bus-ID: 07:00.0 chip-ID: 10ec:8168
class-ID: 0200
Device-2: Realtek RTL8852BE PCIe 802.11ax Wireless Network vendor: Lenovo
driver: rtw89_8852be v: kernel pcie: gen: 1 speed: 2.5 GT/s lanes: 1
port: 3000 bus-ID: 08:00.0 chip-ID: 10ec:b852 class-ID: 0280

Any help appreciated. I can do a dedicated thread in the Network support category if it’s too specific. Thanks !

When there are glitches with wifi connection, first try disabling powersave and Mac randomization.

Trying that now, I’ll let you know how it goes, thank you

After a good hour of testing, I can say it’s way better, I’m considering it solved and will come back to it if I notice other issues.

Thanks a lot !
