[image] [Stable Update] 2026-09-07 - Kernels, KDE Gear, Mesa, LibreOffice, Firefox, COSMIC Note: I’ve super limited time to do Manjaro these days. So expect delayed response from me or none at all … Anyone else getting really bad foreshadowing vibes? I was under the impression that there is a…

Well, he is speaking about his response time. That doesn’t mean that everything in Manjaro stops. But it’s true that apparently he is the only one that controls some things.

The foundation is still in the making and Philipp still works on manjaro, even if not so intensive. In fact he is rearranging and updating the server infrastructure right now ( since the weekend. )

[image] fonic: I was under the impression that there is a foundation of sorts that’s maintaining Manjaro, but this remark somewhat implies that it all depends on one single guy. The foundation is still in the process of getting legally registered — as you can read here — and this has nothing …

This post by @philm sheds some light on what seems to be going on internally, that’s the information I was looking for. It would seem that the foundation is still in the process of being formalized , while key figures like @philm seem to be gradually withdrawing from the project (judging from the qu…

[image] fonic: Seems like there might be some rocky times ahead Or Everything is absolutely normal. Philm already said that the core team considered to have the entity as non-profit from the very start, but at that time Gmbh may have been better option, because the community was very differe…
