Re-Install Manjaro and keep settings/applications?

It seems, i have messed some system files on my laptop. However im quite happy with the rest. Is there a simple way to re-install Manjaro but keep all my current settings and applications which i have manually installed?

Or to compare a fresh/standard Gnome installation with my installation and restore only the missing files/settings?

Will a fresh install have manually installed applications (from a previous install from the standard repository) automatically in the startmenus, ready for usage?

Save your /home directory, reinstall and the overwrite the newer /home directory (use same username and edition, obviously).

Just use pacman.
