After retrying like 7 times, without changing anything, it finally prompted me for the admin password (which it hadn’t before) and installed succesfully.
It’s not the first time that a package installation fails for no apparent reason and then, at the N-th attempt without doing anything differently, it succeeds.
Probably aur was offline. Or git. Happens sometimes.
In the future you can at least click on the arrow near apply to see the log and post it, please do not post screenshots of text. And remember that aur is not officially supported and using it on the stable branch as your profile says is a bad idea.
What should I do instead?
It is generally recommended to switch to testing or unstable branch if going to use aur. Please read about aur in the manjaro wiki.
Just an FYI, RabbitVCS is essentially no longer maintained. I suggest turtle
(also available as a Flatpak and in the AUR) instead. I switched myself and Turtle has much better performance with much less CPU usage.
