Quick Question on partitioning

Hi there,

In the installation process, is it possbile to assign /home to my D drive partition? It only contains music, video files and what not. I’m hoping to be able use that partition as D drive when I’m windows and as /home when I’m on manjaro, would this cause problems?

Thanks

Generally speaking, yes, it will cause problems at some point. Manjaro saves configuration data at the home folder. It is not very good if it is not a native system, the permissions will not be ok etc. Might work but might become a mess at some point.

Make a subfolder like /home/windows, than read about mounting ntfs-3g partition there and you will be ok.
