Questions about lxqt/kwin spin

I am using this on a usb drive that I am going to turn into a security and pen testing usb.
I added a repository with ArchStrike packages on it to start with.
I have one question. I am not finding how to change the login screen resolution. On my laptop it is very small text and login box. I would like to change the resolution to something like 1024x768.
What file is that setting in?

Also sound is not setup correctly. It is showing my HDMI but not my main sound.
Thanks

Got my sound working somehow by installing the following:

pamac install manjaro-pipewire

However my sound buttons on the keyboard don’t control the volume on a youtube video.

I don’t know - systems are different - on the hardware I tested the sound - everything worked OOB.

Is there a good resource for finding out how to change things like .desktop files, login screen resolution settings and other configuration settings?

The display manager used is sddm and the norse theme from repo modded with another background.

The original theme is from

The theme is qml and while I have not had any reason to modify besides the background I reckon you can modify the components to match your use case.

You can find the specification an on Desktop desktop entries at

https://freedesktop.org/wiki/Specifications/desktop-entry-spec/

If that is too dry - you can always start with an existing one - e.g. from ~/.config/autostart or ~/etc/xdg/ which contains several desktop entries.
