Hello, I’m contemplating switching my main box to Manjaro as well, but I’m looking for some specific feedback.
I’m reluctant because of my experience with my AMD 5600XT gpu and it’s drivers on W10/11 and it’s famous “black screen gpu driver timeout crashes”. Occurring mostly on dual/multi monitor setup, with one being freesync high refresh rate.
So I’d like to ask if there are any user here that switched to Linux, Manjaro or any other distro for that matter, with their reason being the stability state of the Win AMD drivers for them?
Did the switching result in a positive and stable experience under Linux (with mesa) with your multi monitor setup on your AMD gpu. If not was it deemed in the end still to be faulty hardware?
