qBittorrent segmentation fault

I have started to get a segmentation fault after attempting to launch qbittorrent :

qbittorrent

zsh: segmentation fault (core dumped) qbittorrent

I have tried to remove and reinstall qbittorrent, but the segmentation fault persists.

pamac remove qbittorrent
pamac install qbittorrent

I have also tried to delete the following directories in between the remove and install commands, but qbittorrent still crashes.

~/.cache/qBittorent
~/.config/qBittorrent
~/.local/share/qBittorrent

How do I get qbittorrent to launch without crashing ? Thanks.

I am on the testing branch. System details below :

I also had this on CachyOS and over on their forum someone said to downgrade libtorrent-rasterbar which was a temporary fix that worked for me too, but the update today to qbittorrent 5.1.2-2 fixed it.

Thanks for the tip and the link. Downgrading libtorrent-rasterbar from 2.0.11-5 to 2.0.11-4 fixed it. I didn’t need to go back to 2.0.10-5 as stated in the link. I’ll wait for qbittorrent 5.1.2-2 to hit testing.
